Six skills that hit a single target in the original game now hit up to 3 enemies in an area. The Fairy, previously the only class with no area skill at all on either weapon, now has one for Wheel and one for Pearl. The full list per class is on the new Area Skills page, under Systems.
The top reward of the Drakantos Reputation. Sold as the Drakantos Guardian Egg by the Drakantos Guardian NPC, it requires reputation level 10, 1500 gold and 1000 competition points. It grants +300 Vitality, +5% Defense, +200 STR/INT/DEX, +3000 attack damage, +10% move speed and +5% critical strike, and improves its master's Auto Pick.
Each Black Zone camp has its own daily quest: defeat the warlord and 16 minions to earn 200 Soul Exp, 10 gold and 22 points of the new Drakantos Reputation. If you would rather speed things up, collect Drakantos Emblems and trade them with the Drakantos Guardian NPC in Stone City for 110 points at once.
A free PK zone with five camps, each guarded by: Ashen Warlord, Blood Ravager, Shadow Executioner, Void Tyrant and Bone Sovereign. Every warlord drops a chest on death, and all loot in the area comes from chests only — mobs never drop items on the ground. The Black Chest, rarest of the three, announces itself to the whole server in chat. Dying in the zone sends you back to Stone City.
Every weapon now carries its correct native element: Staff Fire, Shovel Buddha, Dagger Poison, Simitar Lightning, Wheel Lightning, Pearl Buddha, Sword Fire, Blade Water, Bow Water and Crossbow Poison. This is the element your weapon gains damage in through Blue Weapon Upgrade — the full table is on the Item Upgrade page.
The Drakantos Forger (formerly Legendary Blacksmith) has a new interface and now bundles four systems. The highlight is Blue Weapon Upgrade: take any of the 10 Blue weapons up to +5, adding up to +500 elemental damage and +5% Critical Strike at max level. A failed attempt never destroys the weapon — you only lose the gold — and native attributes and Magicstones are preserved. Each level requires a minimum Soul Level, and +5 unlocks an exclusive look.
Guild War now has a fixed schedule: Sundays at 7 PM (Brasília time). Client updates are now also organized into patches through the launcher.
New limit of up to 5 open clients per computer and up to 5 accounts connected from the same IP, to cut down on multi-account abuse.
New patrol NPCs now roam the area for a livelier scene, the 8 Veterans now drop 100 gold and Deep Fish 3 gold, and Hero Man added two new quests trading Hero Badge for Competition Bonus Pill and Soul Experience Elixir.
Weapon damage reduced for a more balanced progression curve, elemental attributes and defenses reviewed, and adjustments made to Veteran Hunt gear and rewards.
Golden Ascension now only works on Armor, Armguard, Boots, Cuff, Kneepad and Belt (weapons and assistants can no longer turn Golden). Removed stray +10 bonuses, fixed excessive elemental defense growth, and Item Upgrade rolls now have far more stat variety instead of always landing the same combo.
A new Soul EXP curve up to level 30 (easier early on, much steeper after level 20), Soul Level 1 now starts automatically, and the Drakantos Farm Veterans now grant Soul EXP on kill. Check the full level/bonus table on the new Soul System page.
Every PvP kill now broadcasts a global rumor with the players' names highlighted in color and emoji — laying the groundwork for a future kills/deaths leaderboard.
The Drakantos Arena now runs one match at a time, lets you cancel your registration and get your Arena Ticket back, keeps deaths from affecting your PK status, and tracks a wins leaderboard right here on the site.
Drakantos Overlord and Drakantos Warden now spawn every 6 hours, each guaranteeing 10 items per kill plus a signature drop.
The hardest boss yet spawns every 48 hours in Blood Palace, hits harder than Overlord and Warden, and drops all their signature items plus 3 brand new treasure chests (Drakantos Chest, Ember Chest, Sovereign Chest) full of rare gems and pet rewards.
Upgrade timers and contribution requirements were reworked across all 5 guild buildings for a fairer progression curve.
Full T1-T5 upgrade chain for the Drakantos Ring/Amulet, plus the Silver Ring and Dream Amulet drop table.
