The biggest Drakantos update so far. The cap rises to level 68 and opens Moon Dragon Village, with monsters from 61 to 70, 10 new sets, 7 helmets, two scheduled World Bosses that scatter 40 chests when they fall, and a new Territory.
This is a big update and it touches tables the client also reads: items, monsters, maps and screens. Open the launcher and let it finish downloading before you log in. Without it, the new items and monsters may not show up correctly.
Eight new levels, and a whole continent to spend them on
The level cap moved from 60 to 68. The experience curve for the new levels was designed from scratch for this range, and everything below exists to go with it: monsters from 61 to 70, dedicated sets, helmets, bosses and a whole new area. If you were sitting at 60, you have somewhere to go again.
| What | Before | Now |
|---|---|---|
| Max level | 60 | 68 |
| New monster range | — | 61 to 70, in Moon Dragon Village |
| Gear for the range | — | 10 new sets + 7 helmets |
Moon Dragon Village is where the 61-70 range happens. The village has regular monsters, mini-bosses spread around and field bosses, plus the Helmet Master, who sells the new helmets and the reputation certificate. It is also home to the two World Bosses and the new Territory.
| What is there | Detail | |
|---|---|---|
| Monsters from 61 to 70 | — | The higher the level, the better what they carry |
| Mini-bosses and field bosses | — | Spread across the village, no cave needed |
| Helmet Master | — | Sells the 7 helmets and the Silver Fox Cave Certificate |
Each class gets a damage set and a defense set — and now both carry BOTH of its weapon elements
Sixty pieces: 6 per set (armor, armguard, boots, cuff, kneepad and belt), two sets per class. The damage set is the offensive route; the defense set trades part of the attack for health and physical resistance. The big change is that both now carry BOTH elements of your class weapons — before, each set had only one, and half your damage was left out. The values below are PER PIECE and fixed: they come with it, before any forging.
| Set | Elements | Native stats per piece |
|---|---|---|
| Fire + Water | +45 Intelligence · +200 HP · +2% Damage and +2% Critical Damage on BOTH elements | |
| Fire + Water | +15 Intelligence · +400 HP · +2% Physical Defense · +1% Damage and +1% Critical Damage on both | |
| Fire + Buddha | +45 Strength · +200 HP · +2% Damage and +2% Critical Damage on BOTH elements | |
| Fire + Buddha | +15 Strength · +400 HP · +2% Physical Defense · +1% Damage and +1% Critical Damage on both | |
| Buddha + Lightning | +45 Intelligence · +200 HP · +2% Damage and +2% Critical Damage on BOTH elements | |
| Buddha + Lightning | +15 Intelligence · +400 HP · +2% Physical Defense · +1% Damage and +1% Critical Damage on both | |
| Lightning + Poison | +45 Dexterity · +200 HP · +2% Damage and +2% Critical Damage on BOTH elements | |
| Lightning + Poison | +15 Dexterity · +400 HP · +2% Physical Defense · +1% Damage and +1% Critical Damage on both | |
| Water + Poison | +45 Intelligence · +200 HP · +2% Damage and +2% Critical Damage on BOTH elements | |
| Water + Poison | +15 Intelligence · +400 HP · +2% Physical Defense · +1% Damage and +1% Critical Damage on both |
The Fairy sets also carry a healing bonus, which does not show in the item window list but does count in game.
Since every piece carries the same values, the closed 6-piece set is just multiplication. This part is exact: it is what you have the moment you wear all 6, having forged nothing.
| Full set (6 pieces) | Damage | Defense |
|---|---|---|
| Class main stat | +270 | +90 |
| Max HP | +1,200 | +2,400 |
| Physical Defense | — | +12% |
| Damage — on EACH of the two elements | +12% | +6% |
| Critical Damage — on EACH of the two | +12% | +6% |
And that is only the floor. Every piece still accepts forging, and each forge adds one more stat — up to five per piece, meaning up to thirty across the closed set. A damage armor forged to the end can come out with something like +366 Intelligence, +159 Vitality, +371 Dodge, +318 Critical Strike and +2% Critical Strike ON TOP of the table above. Forging values are rolled on every attempt, so no two pieces end up alike — the example above is from a real piece, not a promise.
Each new helmet requires the one before it. And the competition point cost was cut in half.
The Helmet Master stopped selling helmets directly. He now sells each one's certificate — with the same Silver Fox Cave reputation, competition points and gold requirements as before. The helmet itself comes from a trade with him: you hand over the certificate and, from the second step on, the previous helmet as well. Anyone who wants the King Helmet will have to walk through the six that come before. In exchange, the total competition point cost dropped from 196,000 to 100,000.
| Certificate in the shop | Reputation required | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Reputation level 1 | 5,000 gold + 5,000 points | |
| Reputation level 2 | 6,000 gold + 8,000 points | |
| Reputation level 4 | 7,000 gold + 11,000 points | |
| Reputation level 5 | 8,000 gold + 14,000 points | |
| Reputation level 7 | 9,000 gold + 17,000 points | |
| Reputation level 8 | 10,000 gold + 20,000 points | |
| Reputation level 10 | 11,000 gold + 25,000 points |
The trade happens at the Helmet Master himself. The first step asks only for the certificate; from the Soldier on, the certificate plus the previous helmet. The helmet you receive is bound to your character. Silver Fox Cave reputation still rises through the daily quests there and through the Silver Fox Cave Certificate, which the Helmet Master keeps selling.
Forging stones no longer depend on luck alone. Anyone gathering large gems can now craft them directly, in the same Craft window where the Reward Stone is made.
| Recipe | Materials | Product |
|---|---|---|
| 3 Large Ruby + 2 Gold Bar | 3 pieces | |
| 3 Large Emerald + 2 Gold Bar | 3 pieces |
And the Rare Drakantos TT now stacks: up to 5 per bag slot, across tiers T1, T2 and T3. At the blacksmith it is still spent one at a time, like the Titanium Stone.
On death, each one scatters 40 chests on the ground — and any player can open them
Two World Bosses rise on their own in Moon Dragon Village, every day, at a fixed time. They spawn in the open, with no player cap and no instance: whoever shows up, fights. The server announces when they appear, when the first blow lands and when they fall. On death, each scatters 40 chests on the ground, and there is no owner — any player there can open them.
| Boss | Time | Where |
|---|---|---|
| 21:45 | East of Simen Mountain | |
| 21:55 | Barbarian Mountain |
Both are marked on the world map, each with its own icon. Besides the chests, they drop pieces of the new sets and a solid amount of gold.
Each of the 40 chests draws one prize. These are the ones that can come out — the chance of each is not published.
| Can come out | What it is | |
|---|---|---|
| — | The rare prize — the Territory shop currency | |
| Rare Drakantos TT [T1] and [T2] | — | Raises the combination success chance |
| Forger Protection / Certainty Stone (5 pieces) | — | A pack of 5 forging stones |
| Titanium Stone | — | Raises the success chance |
| Competition Bonus Pill (100) and (300) | — | Competition points for the PVP shop |
| Soul Experience Elixir (500) | — | Experience for your Soul |
| Drakantos Pill | — | Points for the Stone City shop |
| Gold Bag (50G) | — | 50 gold on the spot |
The five camps stopped being a place you pass through and became the destination for players who already completed their set. The commanders and their troops got considerably stronger — this is no longer a solo trip. In exchange, the Black Zone now pays the best gold in the game, and the commanders drop the Pants T2 and LuckyStar T2 boxes, which until now came only from the West Palace wardens.
| What drops | Where from | |
|---|---|---|
| — | Per commander killed | |
| — | Per camp soldier | |
| — | From the camp commanders | |
| — | From the camp commanders | |
| — | Scattered on the ground where the commander fell — anyone can open them |
Each commander rules two camps, and the chests now spawn exactly where he fell — previously half the time they appeared at the wrong camp, across the map.
The guild holding BOTH territories starts charging a 5% tax on the entire server
Domination gained a second stage: a Territory of its own in Moon Dragon Village, at the Outskirt of Village, at 21:30 — right before the World Bosses. It works like the Stone City one: a tower rises, guilds fight over it, and whoever brings it down and holds it takes the prize for every member. The difference is what that unlocks now that there are two.
| The winner prize | Qty | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | The Territory shop currency | |
| Forger Certainty Stone (5 pieces) | 1 | Only the village Territory pays this one — Stone City pays Protection |
| Guild Ascension Material (10) | 1 | For the guild Altar |
| Ember Chest | 3 | The only chest that can bring a Soul Bell |
| Soul Experience Elixir (500) | 2 | Experience for your Soul |
| Competition Bonus Pill (300) | 1 | Competition points |
| Golden Identify Gem | 1 | For identifying gear |
If you want the whole evening, the run is set: Territory at 21:30, the first World Boss at 21:45 and the second at 21:55.
Now that there are two territories, a new state exists: Total Domination, when a single guild holds both at once. Only in that state does the tax exist — with the towers in different hands, nobody pays anything. While it lasts, 5% of the gold the server earns goes to the ruling guild vault. It is the biggest guild reward in the game, and the biggest reason to take it from them.
| Situation | Taxed? | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Gold from monsters and bosses | Yes | The tax applies after the Premium bonus |
| Selling items to an NPC | Yes | — |
| Personal bank withdrawal | No | Money already yours is never taxed |
| Guild vault withdrawal | No | — |
| Gold received by mail | No | — |
| Refunded auction bid | No | — |
| Members of the ruling guild | No | The owners do not tax themselves |
| Players with no guild | No | — |
The tax lands in the guild vault, the same Warehouse the leader and elder already use. And it does not survive a server restart: after one it stays off until the next tower round settles the owners again.
The village monsters now carry two golden chests. They vanish 30 minutes after dropping, so it pays to open them right away.
| Chest | What is inside | |
|---|---|---|
| — | Forging stones — Protection or Certainty, 1 or 3 pieces | |
| — | Competition Bonus Pill, Titanium Stone or Rare Drakantos TT | |
| — | Sold by the Helmet Master; grants 1000 Silver Fox Cave reputation |
The guild Altar gained an open history. Any member can see who deposited what and when, with a per-player ranking — no more arguing about who is carrying the Altar.
Until now every chest in the game used the same icon and they all blurred together in your bag. Now each family has its own color: forging in orange, caves in blue, farm in green, PVP in red, ore in silver, wings in cyan and the big prizes in gold.
The values on this page are the ones running on the server. The chance of each drop is not published, and never will be — what we publish is what can come out. Found something odd after the update? Report it and we will look into it.
