30 Gold Item is lost on failure
Accepts: Golden equipment: Armor, Armguard, Boots, Cuff, Kneepad, Belt
Rolls 2 to 10 random bonus attributes onto the item. On failure, the item is destroyed.
30 Gold Item is lost on failure
Accepts: Blue equipment (any of the 6 accepted types)
Turns a Blue item into Golden. On failure, the Blue item is destroyed. Once Golden, the item can be taken to Item Upgrade.
500 Gold Weapon is never lost
Accepts: Blue weapons
Takes a Blue weapon up to +5, adding elemental damage at every level. A failed attempt never destroys or changes the weapon — you only lose the gold.
700 Gold Weapon is never lost
Accepts: Golden weapons
The same ladder as the Blue weapon, but for Golden weapons — and the C.Strike bonus at +5 is bigger. A failed attempt never destroys or changes the weapon.
Free
Accepts: Any item
Permanently deletes an item from your inventory, with a confirmation prompt. No reward or recovery possible.
Blue and Golden weapons climb the exact same ladder — same elemental damage, same Soul requirement. The only difference is the C.Strike bonus at +5, and the cost per attempt.
Blue: 500 Gold per attempt Golden: 700 Gold per attempt
| Level | Elemental Damage | Soul Required | Bonus at max level |
|---|---|---|---|
| +1 | +100 | Soul 5 | — |
| +2 | +200 | Soul 10 | — |
| +3 | +300 | Soul 15 | — |
| +4 | +400 | Soul 20 | — |
| +5 | +500 | Soul 25 | Blue +5% C.Strike Golden +7% C.Strike |
Every level raises the Soul Level needed to equip the weapon. If you push the weapon past your own Soul Level, it stays in your bag and you cannot equip it until your Soul catches up. Check your Soul before paying for the next level.
Upgrading keeps the weapon's native attributes and the Magicstones already socketed. The elemental damage is added on top, and the weapon's colour does not change — a Blue weapon stays Blue, a Golden weapon stays Golden.
Reaching +5 gives the weapon an exclusive appearance, visible to every player around you.
A successful Item Upgrade rolls between 2 and 10 bonus attributes onto a Golden piece, drawn from the pool below. Which ones you get, and how many, is random every attempt.
Magic Attack Critical Critical Rate
Physical Armor Parry Parry Rate Dodge Dodge Rate
Constitution Max HP HP Recovery MP Recovery
Strength Dexterity Wit
One line for each of the five elements
The value of each attribute scales with the item's level — the same attribute is worth more on a higher-level piece.
| 1 | Get a Blue piece of one of the six accepted types, or a Blue weapon. |
| 2 | Equipment: take it to Golden Ascension to turn it Golden. Weapons: go straight to Blue Weapon Upgrade. |
| 3 | Once the piece is Golden, Item Upgrade rolls its bonus attributes. A Golden weapon goes to Golden Weapon Upgrade instead. |
| 4 | Climb the weapon one level at a time, keeping an eye on your Soul Level. |
The elemental damage gained from Blue Weapon Upgrade follows the weapon's native element.
