There are two ring/amulet sets in the game: the Drakantos set, upgraded through a quest chain, and the Silver Ring / Dream Amulet, a guaranteed world boss drop.
One ring and one amulet per class (Right/Left). Bonuses stack as you equip more pieces of the same class.

Each tier is a separate quest at the "Amulets & Rings" NPC in Stone City. To turn in, you need Residual Shadow, which is made at the "Residual Shadow" NPC (also in Stone City), plus the previous tier's item. The final quest (T5) rewards the actual wearable ring/amulet.
Turn-in NPC for all 10 upgrade quests (5 ring tiers + 5 amulet tiers).
Trades Soul Bell for Residual Shadow, the material needed to upgrade each tier.

Every ring and amulet tier is paid in Residual Shadow. You don't drop Residual Shadow directly: you drop Soul Bell and trade it in.
25x Soul Bell → 25x Residual Shadow Take 25 Soul Bell to the "Residual Shadow" NPC in Stone City and he extracts 25 Residual Shadow for you. Repeatable as many times as you want.
