Where gold drops
Every gold source in the server, in the order you will run into them, with what each boss drops. Values are per kill, before the Premium account bonus.
A Premium account adds 50% on top of everything on this page. The 2,500g Bloodlord pays 3,750g.
Almost everything here pays on every kill. The two exceptions are the 12 Body and Soul in Seven Stars and the Flaming Lion Monkey, which pay on half of them — if you kill one and no gold shows up, that is why, it is not a bug.
Level 45 to 60
Dungeons
The first real gold in the game. Trash mobs barely pay — the money is in the room bosses, and it climbs with every room you clear. You get in with a key, and the key comes from a daily.

Veterans
They all pay the same and they always pay. The most predictable gold in the server: 660 gold per full round, every 2 hours. Since 12/08 they take far more punishment and hit much harder — no longer a solo drive-by.

Four layers of gold, from the common mob to the 6 hour boss. Everything here pays on every kill. Since 12/08 the Overlord and the Warden pay 600 gold each — the two biggest fixed payouts in the server — and it is also the best place to look for Titanium Stone.

They spawn by event and the whole server is told. The biggest per-kill payout in the game outside the Bloodlord, and all three guarantee a Drakantos Chest. Since 12/08 the Pig Face Cat matches his brothers — he used to pay under 2 gold.

What to spend it on
Golden Weapon Upgrade costs 700 gold per attempt, and Item Upgrade and Golden Ascension cost 30 gold each. Guild buildings are the heaviest sink in the game: over 10,000 gold to max everything out.
