The most dangerous and most rewarding area of the server. Five camps, each with its own warlord and a chest waiting for whoever gets there first — and dying here costs you a set piece.
NPC Drakantos Black Gate — stands in Stone City and teleports you straight inside. Right beside him is the Drakantos Guardian, who hands out the daily quests.
Dying to another player inside the Black Zone drops one piece of your set on the ground. Only Robe, Armguard, Boots, Cuff, Kneepad and Belt can fall.
Weapons, assistants, rings, amulets, pets, mounts, teleport charms, keys, potions and quest items never drop — anywhere in the game.
Kills inside the Black Zone and inside the Arena do not raise your PK counter. Fight freely without turning red.
Dying inside the Black Zone sends you straight back to Stone City, right next to the Black Gate.
Each camp has 1 warlord in the middle and 8 mobs around him. The warlord respawns every 20 minutes; the mobs every minute.

When a camp warlord dies, a chest spawns on the ground. Anyone can open it — including someone who did not do the killing. Large gems and Titanium never drop directly: they always come from inside a box.

Everything that dies in the Black Zone can drop a [Craft Black Zone] chip. Collect 50 and take them to the Magicstone Master in Stone City to trade for a [Chest Black Zone].

Every camp monster can drop 1 chip. It is common — farm the camp and they pile up fast.

The Drakantos Guardian NPC hands out 6 daily quests: one per camp, plus Thin the Camps which covers all five. The camp ones give 200 Soul Experience, 10 Gold and 22 Drakantos reputation; Thin the Camps gives 200 Soul and the Drakantos Emblem.

The best pet in the game. Redeemed at the NPC itself once your Drakantos reputation is maxed — roughly 90 days of doing the 5 dailies.
Earned from the Thin the Camps daily, and also handed out during events. Delivered to the Drakantos Guardian, it is worth 110 reputation points — exactly one full day of dailies. It cannot be traded.
The Black Zone sits at the top of the progression: Dai's Field, then Drakantos Farm, and finally the Black Zone. It pays more per effort precisely because you risk losing a set piece.
